Player Health Indicator Mod MCPE: Java Fabric Mod vs Bedrock Add-on Differences

Learn why Player Health Indicator Mod MCPE searches do not map directly to the original Java Fabric project and how Bedrock add-ons differ.

Player health Indicator mod mcpe is a platform search, not just a version search. The original PlayerHealthIndicators project is a Minecraft Java Edition client mod built for Fabric. MCPE/Bedrock uses a different add-on architecture and cannot install the same Java mod package.

Compatibility baseline: the original project is a client-side Fabric mod; its current master metadata targets Minecraft 1.21, Fabric Loader 0.15.11+, Java 21+, and Fabric API.

Java Fabric and MCPE use different extension systems

A Fabric mod is compiled Java code loaded through Fabric Loader. Bedrock/MCPE add-ons use resource packs, behavior packs, scripting, and package formats designed for Bedrock. The folders, APIs, runtime, and compatibility rules are different.

The original project metadata is Java-specific

The current master metadata targets Minecraft 1.21, Java 21 or newer, Fabric Loader, and Fabric API. Those requirements immediately identify a Java Edition workflow and do not describe a mobile Bedrock installation path.

Similar visuals do not mean the same mod

Bedrock add-ons can also display health numbers, bars, or hearts above players and mobs. A screenshot may look similar while the underlying package is unrelated. Verify platform and package type before downloading.

What MCPE users should look for

Use an add-on that explicitly says it supports your Bedrock/MCPE version and package format. Do not rename a JAR or source ZIP to .mcpack or .mcaddon; that does not convert Java code into a Bedrock add-on.
